Politics: More blather from Hillary about that YouTube video

By DAN CALABRESE - If it doesn't justify the attacks, then why keep bringing it up?

As another day brings a spread of the violence across the Middle East, the Obama Administration can't seem to make up its mind if the attacks are justified or not. Oh no, Hillary just emphasized in yet another public statement, there is no justification!

And yet this accompanies yet another solemn, sad-faced bemoaning of the video that supposedly inflamed the mobs, along with her stern insistence it's horrible beyond words for anyone to do anything that denigrates someone else's religion. (Unless, of course, it's to denigrate "bitter clingers" . . . then it's perfectly fine.)

Someone needs to explain to the Obama Administration that you can respond with resolve, or you can appease, but you can't do both. The mobs that are forming across the region this morning are obviously not mollified by Obama and Hillary apologizing for the video, even as they distance themselves from the consulate in Libya doing the very same thing before the murders there. And the mobs are obviously not too worried about any consequences for what they're doing.

Would you be?
