Technology: Cloud Coverage

A few years ago, the Internet was invented. I know what you’re going to say… “Xander, it’s been a little longer than a few years since the Internet was invented.” Well, you wouldn’t be wrong but neither am I. The Internet began it’s life in the 1960s but it’s potential wasn’t utilized until the 2000s. With the creation of Facebook and Twitter, the Internet has become the place to go to connect with everyone everywhere. Now I know that I am probably telling you something that you already know, but most people don’t really stop and think about what we have now compared to what we had 10 or even 5 years ago.
Google has become one of the largest driving forces for the expansion of the Internet. With it’s social networking arm Google +, it has slowly been pushing Facebook aside. It has made sharing photos and videos more efficient. I will go into more detail about Google + in future posts but I bring it up because Google has connected everything under it’s banner together. This has left them with an extraordinary opportunity to bring it all together with their latest creation, Google’s Project Glass. Imagine being able to put on a pair of glasses that let you instantly connect to everything you love on the Internet.
Project Glass: One day…
Google has begun to sell their futuristic glasses prototypes for $1,500 to computer programmers and other developers. Google co-founder Sergey Brin said Google hopes to release the devices to the mass market in early 2014.
Technology is changing everything we do and everything around us from movies, video games, television, and electronics.
